Hezbollah’s General Secretary Naim Qassem reaffirmed his group’s unconditional support for Syria in a recent speech, emphasizing the need to resist the aggression of terrorist gangs, which he claims are backed by the U.S. and Israel.

In his speech, Qassem denounced these extremist groups as seeking to destabilize Syria, which he views as part of a broader plan to weaken resistance against Israel in the region.

The situation in Syria has escalated again, with recent advances by rebel forces in key areas such as Aleppo and Hama.

Qassem argued that the failure of Israeli attempts to destabilize Syria and Lebanon has led to an increase in hostilities by terrorist groups. He also urged Arab countries to support the Syrian government in what he describes as an “Israeli expansionist project.”

Additionally, he stressed that despite Israeli violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon, Hezbollah is willing to give this agreement a chance to succeed.

In an effort to mitigate the humanitarian impact of the conflict, Hezbollah, along with Iran, has distributed $57 million among 170,000 Lebanese families affected by Israeli attacks.
